Description
The British Class 800 high-speed trains built by Hitachi have been in service with Great Western Railway (GWR) and London North Eastern Railway (LNER) since 2017. The trains are used as units of 5 and 9. The former also in double traction. The trains known as Azuma are equipped with the latest hybrid technology and can be used both under contact wire and on non-electrified lines.
