In Switzerland, the double-decker express train carriages of the SBB, which were procured from 1997 onwards, are referred to as IC2000. These passenger coaches, approved for 200 kilometers per hour, were originally purchased in five coach types (Bt, B, BR, A, AD), some of which may differ slightly from one another. In addition, various modifications have been made since delivery, so that later there were seven different types and today there are six. They differ from the other European double-decker coaches above all by the gangway located on the upper deck.
