Description
The Desiro HC is a commuter train from Siemens. The multiple unit has two single-decker end cars and, depending on the version, between two and four double-decker middle cars. The Desiro HC from National Express is currently being used on the RRX lines in North Rhine-Westphalia. DB Regio also operates the multiple-unit trains on the Rhine Valley network across the border as far as Basel. The Desiro HC is used as a so-called FTX between Nuremberg and Sonneberg. GoAhead vehicles are used on the Danube and Isar.
