ÖBB’s Desiro ML is based on a vehicle designed by Siemens as a modular railcar. The vehicles are used as three- and four-car units by ÖBB and Raaberbahn. ODEG also relies on the 4746 series vehicles – they are mainly used for regional services on the RE 9 (Rostock – Ostseebad Binz) and RE 10 (Rostock – Greifswald) lines. The vehicles have 324 seats, 335 standing places and 36 parking spaces for bicycles.
