Description
The E444R is the modernized version of the famous E444 Taratuga, losing the elegant curves at the ends. The modernization took place from 1989 to 1997. The locomotive crew were fitted with air conditioning and a modern, noise-insulated driver’s cab. The Italian railroads mainly use the E444R in front of passenger trains. Model features:
Pirata has also modernized the E444R model in cooperation with Mehano and the new locomotive for N scale has a six-pole interface, white/red light change and new filigree pantographs.
