The RhB procured six locomotives with the designation Ge 6/6 in 1921, followed by a further 15 locomotives by 1929. Because of their shape and design and their similarity to the SBB crocodiles, the locomotives are also known as the Rhaetian Crocodile.
The Ge 6/6 I was used for both scheduled freight and passenger trains. The two locomotives with the road numbers 414 and 415 are still operational and regularly in use.
The 1/150 scale Kato model runs on normal N-scale track and has a filigree running gear with rod drive and a headlight that changes with the direction of travel.
