Description
The Siemens Vectron success story continues. With over 1000 units sold, the Vectron is definitely one of the most successful rail vehicles ever built.
It can now be found all over Europe and the European locomotive’s round trips are getting longer and longer. Slovakian and Swiss Vectrons meet in the heart of the Ruhr area.
ÖBB is expanding its route network to Holland and SBB Cargo International has designed the Hollandpiercer especially for traffic to Holland. New variants are added almost every day and the Vectron now also feels at home in Serbia and Bulgaria. The Vectron has even made its way to Scandinavia and is in service with DSB and Hectorrail.
