Description
In 1986, MAN launched the F90, a completely new generation of trucks with a modern cab design. It replaced the previous F9 series. The F90 model series received the new generation of engines, which had been further developed from its predecessor. The peak engine output was now 460 hp, which initially made MAN the top performer among European road trucks, and later rose to 500 hp. The model range included various chassis lengths and axle configurations. There were also numerous special bodies from third-party suppliers.
