The legendary Lotus 72 is considered one of the most beautiful and innovative Formula 1 racing cars of the 1970s. Colin Chapman’s revolutionary idea of moving the radiator from the front to the sidepods made it possible to radically change the look and, thanks to the optimized weight transfer, also significantly improve handling. First in gold leaf colors and later in the striking black and gold John Player Special design, the Lotus 72 proved its unrivaled strength in the early 1970s. With the combination of the equally legendary engine – the Ford Cosworth DFV 3.0 V8 – and better handling, the Lotus won 20 world championship races and became one of the most successful Grand Prix cars ever built. The JSP-Design chassis with the identity number 7 (of 9) was driven by the soon-to-be world champion Emerson Fittipaldi at the 1972 British Grand Prix.
This amazing Pocher model features more than 600 parts and many details from the monocoque chassis, suspension and engine components to the incredibly detailed cockpit and real rubber tires. All logos have been faithfully reproduced. This impressive 1:8 scale model could become the star of your collection.

Scale: 1:8
Dimensions: Length 523 mm. Height 146 mm. Width 235mm.
More than 600 components.
