The standard freight wagons in Switzerland undoubtedly include the K2 and K3 types. Both were built over many years (K2 since 1900, K3 since 1913), and they are available – with the same main dimensions – in  different  versions with different wheelbases. The SBB kept the series, some of which were in need of overhaul, in service for a long time, so that the K2 was still in service until the 1980s. The Hobbytrain model has been completely redesigned from scratch and built like a construction kit, with a choice of different buffers, door variants and wheel sets, allowing a wide range of variants through the eras.

Variants with sleeve buffers, solid wheels and aluminum door

Model features:
– Consideration of all epochal differences
– many applied details
– Kinematics with NEM coupling receptacle
– Extensive and detailed printing
– Partly spoked wheels
