In addition to the successful electric locomotives, Siemens also presented a diesel version of the Vectron at Innotrans 2010.
With the introduction of dual mode, however, production was discontinued at Siemens, so that only around 10 units are on the road in Germany and Austria.
Like the Hobbytrain electric locomotive version, the diesel locomotive is also equipped with Next18 SST and space for a loudspeaker.
The model features exceptional detailing and workmanship (finely etched and separately inserted fan grilles, mirrored side windows, high beam can be digitally raised and lowered, and much more).
