Description
The ALC-42 Charger is a diesel-electric locomotive from Siemens and is used by Amtrak for long-distance transportation in the USA. The Charger is based on the Siemens Vectron DE.
The Kato model has a powerful five-pole motor with two flywheel masses. The engine room with its characteristic large side grilles can be illuminated using the standard interior lighting (K11211). The model is prepared for sound.
The set consists of the ALC-42 Charger with the operating number 302, as well as a Superliner Sleeper, a Superliner Coach-Baggage and a Superliner Coach. The carriages can be equipped with K11211 and K11213 interior lighting.
